Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation offers $250 and $500 competitive mini-grants for use in classroom programs that promote agricultural literacy. The grants are available for kindergarten through grade 12.
- A teacher’s program objectives should enhance student knowledge of the contribution made by agriculture. Innovative and inter-disciplinary programs related to urban and rural interdependence, commodity connections, science exploration and other unique ties to agriculture are encouraged.
- Applications are considered from schools and after-school programs.
- Applications will be evaluated by a panel of judges (educators and agricultural leaders).
- Applications must be submitted by October 31.
