Student Worker – Fundraising Events & Clerical Support
Overview. Are you a student interested in nonprofit work? Join our team, gain valuable experience in a professional setting, and make a difference!
Duties and Responsibilities.
Fundraising events. Solicit raffle prize donations from local companies, assist with event planning and set up, attend events, and support fundraising staff as requested.
Clerical support. Answer main phone line, greet guests, prepare mailings, fill print and resource orders, assemble supply kits, proofread documents, prepare basic correspondence, create presentations, and provide meeting support.
Data entry. Enter information into Excel, SmartSheet, and eTapestry accurately and efficiently (training provided).
Other duties as assigned. Thrive in a team environment where everyone pitches in to get the job done.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products; comfortable learning new applications.
- Strong people skills; welcoming, outgoing, confident.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, task-oriented, self-starter.
- Flexible and willing to contribute in a variety of ways.
Hours: 12-15 hours per week; flexible schedule
